Named one of Wine Spectators' Top California Cabernet Producers to Watch, Tamber Bey winery concentrates on
crafting opulent, complex, and intense red wines. Their estate vineyard was planted very densely with vines so that
as the vines struggles with one another for water and nutrients, it would naturally limit yields. The result is wines that
are dense and concentrated. Extended aging in French Oak barrels completes the package of these fabulous
Cabernets. |

"Two Rivers"
Cabernet Sauvignon, 2005
Yountville |
After 20 months in 25-percent new French Bordeaux Barrels, the 2005 Tamber Bey Two Rivers Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon emerged to reveal a nose dominated by cedar, blackberry and mint. The palate follows this thread by offering cloves, mint, red raspberry and cherry compote. The oak contributes a sweet cream and vanilla element that balances the round tannin component of the wine. Sweet, black fruits round out this exemplary wine.

"Estate"
Cabernet Sauvignon, 2005
Oakville |
Dark ruby red in
color, with an exotically perfumed nose of violet and blackberry, this wine has a hint of
creosote and the essence of grilled bread. The wine's palate continued to
develop after bottling to reveal notes of cassis, cola and raspberry laced
with mineral-rich tones. The finish is long and sweet, with just enough
fruit tannin to extend it a full 30-seconds. 88 WE |
