The Revolver Wine Company is another venue for Bryan Page's creations in the wine world. It is meant to be an avenue for all the other blends and wine expressions apart from the Bordeaux style wines done at Page Wine Cellars. Edgy, rebellious and well...frankly, winemaking that may be considered "Outlaw" for some. Their 100% Cabernet Franc known as "The Fury" was aged for 28 months in French oak barrels and is truly an eyebrow raiser - artisan winemaking at its best. So, pull up to the bar, slap your hand to the counter, and indulge the Rebel in you.

"The Fury" Cabernet Franc, 2005 Napa Valley	The 05 Cab Franc is a very pretty wine with high toned aromatics and a lacking of a "green" character that so often plagues Franc. Our attention to the flavor profile as the grapes go into our hand crank basket press leaves us able to taste the juice literally after every turn. This is extremely important when making Cab Franc as overworked fruit can attain that quintessential stemmy flavor, but not here, flavors of currant and cassis dominate the palate while floral notes of violet and hints of pencil shavings complete the aromatics. This is a sexy Cab Franc with just enough rugged edges and tannin to complement grilled meats but not bruting beyond pairing with fish accompanied by hearty sauces.	Download Label
