Bierzo is a sunny wine region in northwestern Spain. Vinademoya is produced from vineyards in Bierzo that are
at least 100 years-old, full of gnarled, decades-old vines. These ancient vines are grown on small, steep
vineyards with shallow, chalky soil comprised of a sub-layer rich in minerals. This wine is 100% Mencia, a hearty
and complex red varietal. When ready, grapes are harvested by hand and only the grapes at peak ripeness
are collected. |
