C. da Silva is one of the most recognized and revered Port Houses in the Douro valley. Their "Presidential" line of Ports runs the gamut of Port styles, featuring both wood-aged and bottle-aged Ports. The White Porto, Ruby Porto and Tawny Porto offer extreme quality for value. The vintages of 1977 and 1997 were so good in Portugal that most of the Port producers (including C. da Silva) declared it a top-vintage year and produced the most highly revered style of Port: Vintage Porto.
