Ronchi is an estate just outside the village of Barbaresco, dominating the Ronchi Cru which supplies the vast majority of grapes processed by this family winery. A carefully chosen mixture of large cask and the finest, most elegant small wood constitutes the aging cellar in order to achieve winemaking that does not simply repeat the fashion of over-oaky and vanilla stuffed Nebbiolo, but instead aims at elegance and longevity - distinctive wines of intense character and complexity.

Barbaresco DOCG, 2004 Piemonte	Deep, penetrating ruby tones in the glass. Fresh roses blend with blackberries and dried pipe tobacco on the classic, aromatic nose. Silky smooth and voluptuous - this is Nebbiolo with exquisite poise and penetrating flavors, supple grip and powerful concentration. Notes of dark chocolate and roasted chestnuts are discernible in the background, while floods of blueberries and blackberries rush to the fore.
