Novaia

On the hillsides of one of the sunniest slopes of Valpolicella, lies the 15th century estate of Novaia. The
winery combines the old and new with its valley hillsides planted to grapes historic to the area, and at the
manor itself, with its state of the art cantina in a carved out stone cellar, shaded by an ancient Yew tree.
Their wines are legendary, with their Amarone made from grapes that have been lovingly dried prior to
crushing and fermenting to produce a wine of intensely deep flavors and character. |

Deep garnet color. Intense perfume, with
predominant hints of red fruits and black cherries in the nose, combined
with a peculiar note, typical of the drying process. Characteristic
spicy hues, with scents of dark chocolate and tobacco. Rich bodied, soft and persistent on the palate, with well-balanced alcohol, high extract, and a particularly intense mineral note on the finish, enhancing the product's typicity.
