Schlink Haus
Nahe, Germany /
schlinkhaus.com
The Schlink Haus winery is a small family-owned and operated enterprise in Germany's spa town of Bad
Kreuznach on the Nahe River. Their US offerings include a Riesling QbA, a sweet red wine made from
Dornfelder, and two Prädikat-quality wines, each representing excellent quality and value. The
distinctive blue bottle isn't a marketing gimmick; in the Nahe, bottles were once always blue, because the
sand used in making the glass had a high amount of Cobalt. By tradition, wines of the Nahe could be
spotted for their blue bottles. Schlink Haus proudly continues this tradition today. |
