varietals produced and grown in the Sud-Ouest (South West) region of France. More than any other wine he
makes, he is best known for the Tannat-based wines of Madiran, including Chateau Bouscasse. Looking at the
press and accolades he has received for this wine, it shows the extraordinary qualities he felt existed in such
a "noble" varietal. These, combined harmoniously with Madiran's microclimate and the particular texture of
the soil, allows the Tannat vine to transcend viticultural rules specially made by the winegrower himself
