Domaine Moillard
Burgundy, Rhône Valley & Languedoc, France /
moillard.com
The town records in Nuits-Saints-Georges confirm that the Moillard family has owned vineyards in the
area since a time before the French Revolution, dating back to 1789. There, they produce some of the
finest Chardonnay and Pinot Noir-based wines from the most famous appellations of Burgundy. In 1995
Moillard expanded its holdings outside of Burgundy and planted 200 acres in the Rhone Valley and in
Languedoc (southern France), where they produce exciting "Vins de Pays d'Oc." Today, the fifth
generation of the Moillard family continues the tradition of delivering quality and excellence.

Burgundy |
"Tradition"
Pinot Noir - Bourgogne Rouge, 2007
Burgundy |
A clear, ruby-color wine, on the lighter side. Fresh, bright and clean, aromas focus on ripe red cherries. Crisp and tart on the palate, with juicy red fruit gains structured from snappy acidity and perceptible tannins. Simple but appealing, good basic Burgundy; rather sharp acidity goes well with food, especially red meat or poultry to mushrooms and cheese dishes. Also matches well with fresh wild Alaskan sockeye salmon grilled with onions. |

Sauvignon Sur Lie, 2007
Languedoc |
Bright and crisp with a gorgeous gold color, there is a touch of frizzante (sparkle) in this well-made wine. A taste of citrus and a touch of apple with a dollop of richness make for a smooth wine to enjoy as an aperitif or
with seafood. Chill and enjoy this one as an icy cold sipper! |

"Chateau d'Eau" Pinot
Noir, 2006
Languedoc |
The Pinot Noir is the noble Burgundian grape variety that produces all the great red wines in the Côte d'Or. Sometimes slightly aggressive when young, it matures well, becoming supple and pleasant. With the Domaine Chateau d'Eau, taste the juicy red berries that give notes of spice. This wine pairs well with red meat or poultry, to mushrooms and cheese dishes. Also goes well with Salmon glazed in barbeque sauce. |
