Domaine Moillard
Burgundy, Rhône Valley & Languedoc, France / moillard.com

The town records in Nuits-Saints-Georges confirm that the Moillard family has owned vineyards in the area since a time before the French Revolution, dating back to 1789. There, they produce some of the finest Chardonnay and Pinot Noir-based wines from the most famous appellations of Burgundy. In 1995 Moillard expanded its holdings outside of Burgundy and planted 200 acres in the Rhone Valley and in Languedoc (southern France), where they produce exciting "Vins de Pays d'Oc." Today, the fifth generation of the Moillard family continues the tradition of delivering quality and excellence. "Tradition" Pinot Noir - Bourgogne Rouge, 2007
Burgundy
A clear, ruby-color wine, on the lighter side. Fresh, bright and clean, aromas focus on ripe red cherries. Simple but appealing, good basic Burgundy; rather sharp acidity goes well with food, especially red meat or poultry to mushrooms and cheese dishes.
