Cave de Cairanne
Rhône Valley, France / cave-cairanne.fr

Cave de Cairanne is located in the village of Cairanne in the southern Rhône Valley, and its wines are renowned for their quality and value. Opening in 1929, they have vines planted on clay and limestone soils, with the finest wines coming from the profusion of stony hillsides in the area. They focus on red wines, with Grenache being the dominant grape variety, complimented by Syrah, Mourvedre and old vine Carignan. In recent years, big investment in modernizing the cellar, plus careful attention to lowering yields in the vineyards has led to winemaker Remi Cook pushing the wines to even higher levels of quality.
