Established in 1995, Kooyong lays claim to 52 acres of Pinot Noir and 27 acres of Chardonnay vines –
the two grapes that are their sole focus. Kooyong strives for complexity in its wines by using multiple
clones - each clone has its own inherent characteristic. When blended together, they give the wine its
many flavors and textures. Kooyong is located on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria – a "cool climate"
region ideally suited to Burgundian-style wines. |
